1. SCOPE & PURPOSE
This Newsletter aims to inform all ship-owners, operators and Masters of vessels about the issuance of Marine Notice YHT-001 Rev. 09/2026 by the Liberian Registry. This Marine Notice informs the maritime industry that the Administration has adopted the Red Ensign Group (REG) Yacht Code, 2024 Edition. The Code shall apply to all units falling within its scope that are to be registered under the Liberian Flag.
The Red Ensign Group (REG) Yacht Code is an international standard for the design, construction, and operation of large commercial and private yachts, developed to ensure safety, environmental protection, and operational efficiency.
