Classification Services :: RULES & REGULATIONS

PH.R.S., using an experts' team in support of the in-house staff, has established its own developed Rules and Regulations for the Construction and Classification of Steel Ships, 2005.

PH.R.S. Rules and Regulations have been developed taking in consideration I.A.C.S. guidelines and they are covering all technical aspects related to vessels' construction and surveys during their service life.

Additional Rules are under development covering, in detail, specialized type of ships and small crafts - pleasure yachts.

The development and improvement of the existing rules is an ongoing mission.

PH.R.S. Rules & Regulations are available for registered customers and users to download in e-services area.

Technical issues not covered by the said rules are considered, on a case-by-case basis, by Society's Technical Committee.
